The perfect recipe for Saffron Tea time

Immerse yourself in a tantalizing aromatic cup of heavenly Saffron tea, also known as Saffron kehwa.

Recipe

1. 10 strands of Ruffins saffron

2. 2 cardamom pods

3. A glass of water

4. 2 tsp sugar

5. For garnishing:Thinly slices almonds and cashews

METHOD

In a small cup add 2 tsp of water and the saffron strands, let it sit for a while. To a glass of water add 2 cardamom pods and sugar, boil it till it reduces to half of its quantity. Add the saffron water to the decoction, let it simmer for 2 min. In a cup add the almonds and cashews, top it up with the saffron decoction. Your delicious saffron kehwa is ready to be served.
